Assignments

Assignment 1
We had to create 3 or 4 icons that represent different things. In order to make the icons I used the program Illustrator. I liked how they turned out. Also, I like the way I used black and white, and the lines to create depth. Every icon got better and better as I proceeded.

Assignment 2
In this assignment we used the pen tool create different textures. In the first row, we used texture. For the second row we used texture and space, and in the 3rd row we incorporated both texture space and value. Overall, this assignment helped me get to know the pen tool better and become more comfortable with using it.

Assignment 3
For assignment , we used the pen tool to create a color wheel. We also used the color palette to make the colors for the color wheel. I think I did good on this assignment. Assignment 4
To make pop art, I used photo both to take a picture of myself, Then, I used the editing tools in Adobe Photoshop to create a black and white picture of myself. I used the different color schemes to color myself in. Overall, this was not my best assignmnet. It looks like I rushed.

Assignment 14
For assignment 14, I researched job and gathered information about it. My job was fashion photographer. I used the information I found and put together a flyer about the job. I also used my knowledge of the "Z" to guide the viewers eye throughout the design. The "Z" effect worked on my design, and I think the idea of the purses falling on top of each other added depth to the design.

Assignment 15
From my knowledge of an illuminated manuscript I had to create my own. I used photoshop to make the background and the letter. I used different brushes to create everything. At the end, I brought everything into illustrator and added the text. I believe this assignment turned out good. At the beginning, I didn't think I could do it, then I was able to once I really worked with it.
